This article outlines how to review the titles that have been blocked from your institution’s e-library.
This article is for LIBRARIANS. 🖥️📗😍
While Snapplify has already blocked any content that may be inappropriate for younger readers, you (as an Engage librarian) also have the power to block particular ebooks that you may not want your students to come across. From title to time, you may wish to review this list.
This is how you find the titles that have been blocked from your institution’s digital library:
- Navigate to the ‘Browse’ section of the library when logged in to Engage.
- Find the tabs underneath the search bar (i.e. ‘Recommended’, ‘Favourites’, ‘All’, and ‘Blocked’). Select ‘Blocked’.
- Under the ‘Blocked’ tab (which is only visible to users with the Librarian or Admin roles), you will be able to see all the books that have been blocked from your digital library.
