Integrating Snapplify Authentication on Moodle

This article outlines how to add the Snapplify Cloud Service for authentication on a Moodle website.

This article is for SITE ADMINISTRATORS. 💻💚

If your users already have a Snapplify account, or a Microsoft or Google account, you can make the process of logging in even easier for them. With Snapplify Authentication, signing in is as simple as clicking a button. 👩👨

To enable Snapplify Authentication on Moodle:

  1. Please contact our team by emailing help@snapplify.com and we will supply you with your personalised Client Secret to be used for the Oauth integration.
  2. In  Moodle, access the following location: 

    Dashboard > Site Administration > Server > OAuth 2 services
  3. Click on the ‘Create new custom service’ option, and fill out the relevant information regarding your Moodle configuration:
