Signing up as a Teacha! vendor

This article gives you the lowdown on registering as a vendor on the Teacha! Marketplace so that you can start selling your own resources.

As a tech-savvy teacher, you’ve probably spent hours creating your own e-resources. 📋📹💻 With Teacha!, you can become an edupreneur and get paid for the resources you sell through our website. 

There’s an immense need for curriculum-aligned products in Africa – not only for visual presentations and interactive lessons, but also for worksheets, lesson plans, assessments, and other resources. 🎶📄🎥📈🎓

For new users

If you’re new to the Teacha! Marketplace, here’s how to register and sign up as a vendor:

  1.  Visit teachingresources.co.za.
  2. In the dark-blue bar at the top of the screen, click ‘SELL’ then select the ‘START SELLING NOW’ button on the next page.
  3. On the My Account page, in the ‘Register’ section, fill out the form, including your chosen username, your email address, and your password.
  4. Check the ‘Apply to be a vendor’ tickbox, as well as the box indicating that you have read the terms and conditions, then select ‘REGISTER’.

  5. You will be redirected to the Vendor Application page, where you must complete all the required fields. Try to come up with a unique store name and description as this will help you to stand out and secure sales.
  6. Once you have filled in the form, select the ‘APPLY TO BE A VENDOR’ button.
  7. Congratulations! You are now a vendor!

For existing users

If you already have a Teacha! Marketplace customer account, or you have a registered Snapplify account or a Google/Microsoft account, here’s how to log in and sign up as a vendor:

  1.  Visit teachingresources.co.za.
  2. In the dark-blue bar at the top of the screen, hover over the user icon. From the drop-down menu, select ‘Log In’. 
  3. On the next page, sign in under the ‘Login’ section’ using your existing Teacha! Marketplace account details or with your Snapplify, Google or Microsoft account. 
  4. Once you’ve logged in, click on ‘Become a Vendor’ (on the left-hand side of the screen) on your My Account page.

  5. You will be redirected to the Vendor Application page, where you must complete all the required fields. Try to come up with a unique store name and description as this will help you to stand out and secure sales.
  6. Once you have filled in the form, select the ‘APPLY TO BE A VENDOR’ button.
  7. Congratulations! You are now a vendor!

Once logged in as a vendor, you’ll be able to add or edit products, view sales and orders for your vendor account, or configure your store from your Vendor Dashboard.
