Since the Snapplify Reader app and your downloaded ebooks use the internal storage of your device, deleting ebooks you’re no longer reading can be a useful way to free up storage capacity.
If you simply wish to tidy up your downloaded titles and you don’t need to clear space on your device, you may want to archive your ebook instead.
To delete an ebook in the Snapplify Reader, follow the instructions for your specific device:
iOS
- First, archive your ebook.
- Under the ‘Archived’ tab, tap ‘Edit’. A red icon will appear on the images of all the archived ebooks.
- Tap the red icon on the ebook you wish to delete.
- When asked if you’re sure you want to delete the book, tap ‘Yes’ then tap 'Done' at the top of the screen.
Android
- First, archive your ebook.
- Hold down on the book you wish to delete.
- Select 'Remove this item' from the pop-up menu.
- When asked if you’re sure you want to delete the book, click ‘Yes’.
Windows and macOS
- First, archive your ebook.
- Under the ‘Archived’ tab, hover your cursor over the image of the title you wish to delete. A red trash-can icon will appear.
- Click the red trash-can icon.
- When asked if you’re sure you want to delete the book, click ‘Yes’.
If you accidentally delete a book, here’s how you can restore the title to your Snapplify Reader.
