To ensure reliable access to Snapplify products—especially in environments with strict network policies—it's essential to configure your firewall and network settings to allow communication with key Snapplify services.
Why this matters
Some school networks block access to online resources. Without proper configuration, students and educators may face issues such as:
- Inability to log in
 - Problems downloading books
 - Missing eBook jacket images

This guide helps you prevent such disruptions.
Firewall Configuration
Set your firewall to allow HTTPS traffic (port 443) to the following domains:
Primary Snapplify Domains
These cover all core services:

Ports to use
Ensure the following ports are open:
| Port | Description |
| 443 | Required for secure access to Snapplify servers. |
| 80 | Required for connecting to Snapplify Snappbox. |
DNS-based domain whitelisting is recommended because:
- It supports automatic failover and scaling.
 - It enables fast global routing using AWS infrastructure.
 - It reduces manual IP updates and maintenance overhead.

By following these guidelines, you’ll ensure that Snapplify apps and platforms work reliably across your network—empowering learners and educators with uninterrupted access.
