Through Engage you get instant access to thousands of free ebook titles from classic fiction, Shakespeare plays and poetry, to biographies, past exam papers and study guides.

When logged in to Engage, you can find the library by clicking ‘Library’ at the top of the page.

Browsing the library

In your digital library, you can search for various titles using the search bar at the top of your screen.

To refine your search, or to find more search options, click 'Advanced'. Once you've typed in your search details, click 'Search' or hit 'Enter' on your keyboard.

In the 'Browse Library' section, the 'Recommended' and 'Favourites' sections make it easier for you to browse your digital library.

‘Recommended’ features an automatically curated list of favourite books that come from all Snapplify Engage accounts (inside, as well as outside your institution). These are the world’s favourite books, according to Engage users. Use this for inspiration, to see what others are reading, and to get inspired to dive into a new recommended read.

‘Favourites’ features ebooks that your institution's librarian has favourited, helping you to find content your librarian has highlighted as useful or interesting.

My Wait List

The 'My Wait List' section lists the library books that you are waiting for because someone else is currently reading them. When the book is returned to the e-library, it will automatically be assigned to your account if you are the next user on the book’s ‘Wait List’.

Snapplify's curated collections allow you to browse through pre-populated lists of ebooks, based on popular authors, series, themes and interests.

Here, you'll find great ebooks to read. Whether you're looking for storybooks for young readers, to learn all about Egypt, to brush up on great painters, or to delve into a teen romance novel – we’ve got something for everyone.

The ‘Categories’ section gives you another way to find books related to what you are interested in, or what you are studying.

Under ‘History’, you will find historical reads; while those who enjoy love stories will find their next fix under ‘Romance’, and Star Wars fans will find other sci-fi worlds to get lost in under ‘Science Fiction & Fantasy'.

Reviewing and returning the library books you have checked out

From the Engage Home page, in the ‘My Reading’ section, you’ll be able to see the library books that you have currently checked out, as well as any Early Access books, the ebooks you've purchased, and any books on your ‘Wait List’.
