Using Scholastic Literacy Pro reports, you can see an overview of your child's key performance metrics and a history of all the book quizzes they've taken. This enables you to monitor your child's reading comprehension and development. Being able to see their scores and track their progress also helps your child to stay motivated.
Scholastic Literacy Pro is available as an add-on product for schools using Engage.
What Literacy Pro Reports Show
The reports give a full view of a learner’s reading development, including:
- Current Lexile score – A measure of the learner’s reading ability
- Score history – Track how the Lexile score changes over time
- Reading comprehension trends – See how quiz results reflect understanding
- Book choices – View what the learner is reading
- Goals and progress – Track progress toward reading targets
How to Use These Reports
- Identify gaps – Use the trend chart to spot drops in comprehension.
- Adjust reading level – Recommend books closer to their Lexile level.
Celebrate wins – Show learners how they’ve improved over time.
Set goals – Plan a Lexile target for the next term.
