Some digital books and resources are only available on Engage in certain countries due to licensing agreements. These territory restrictions mean that content may not be accessible to users in regions where it is not licensed.

What Are Territory Restrictions?

Publishers may restrict where their content can be sold or accessed. These decisions are based on their publishing rights, which often vary by country or region.

As a result, some titles might be visible in your library or prescribed list, but not actually available to users in your territory.

How to  Restricted Content

You may encounter content that:

  • Shows up in search or lists, but can't be accessed or downloaded

  • Appears as "Not Available" or "Unavailable" on the platform

Managing Restricted Content

If a title in your prescribed list or library is restricted in your territory:

  1. Replace the Title: Choose an alternative that is available in your region. Peppa Pig book list showing two unavailable titles and one available title with price.

  2. Remove the Title: Remove it from the prescribed list or library to avoid confusion. Book listing for 'Peppa's Windy Fall Day' marked as unavailable.

  3. Request Access: In some cases, you may request access for specific content through our team. Message: Title not available in your country. Option to contact support or press OK.
