How to Use Book Buddy AI 

Step 1: Open a Supported Book


  • From the Book Buddy section, select the title you wish to interact with.

Step 2: Start a Conversation

  • To explore what help is available, simply type:
    "How can you help me?"

    Book Buddy will give you a quick summary of the types of support it offers for that book (e.g. summaries, explanations, definitions, etc.).

  • Ask specific academic questions like:
    • "Explain the Pythagorean Theorem"
    • "Summarise Chapter 5"
    • "What is a chemical bond?"
  • Use your home language:
    • You can ask Book Buddy questions in your own language, even if the book is written in another. It will reply in the language you use.

Step 3: Switch to Another Book

  • Go back to the Book Buddy menu
  • Choose a different title from your list of AI-supported books

Book Buddy will load that title, and you can start chatting right away. 


Previous chats are saved for each book, so when you come back, your conversation will still be there.


Tips for Getting the Most Out of Book Buddy AI

  • Use it to review chapters, revise for tests, or understand complex sections.
  • Ask clear and simple questions for the best results.
  • Combine Book Buddy with your own study notes for deeper understanding.
Note: Book Buddy AI only works when you're online. Make sure you have an internet connection before using it.
