This article is for LIBRARIANS.
While Snapplify has already blocked any content that may be inappropriate for younger readers, you (as an Engage librarian) also have the power to block particular ebooks that you may not want your students to come across. From time to time, you may wish to review this list.
When you block ebooks from your digital library, those titles will also be blocked in your institution’s Engage store.
Reviewing blocked titles
To find the titles that have been blocked from your institution’s digital library:
- Log in to Engage and navigate to the library by clicking 'Library' at the top of your screen.
- In the Librarian section of your dashboard on the left-hand side of your screen, select 'Activity'.
- On the Activity page, find the tabs underneath the search bar (i.e. ‘Loaned’, ‘Wait list’, and ‘Blocked’). Select ‘Blocked’.
- Under the ‘Blocked’ tab, you will be able to see all the books that have been blocked from your digital library.
